Lots of info in this thread! I am curious of my options since I will be going with CCW Classics 18" and have Supra TT fronts already. Kinda nervous to try anything larger, unless there is a proven solution. Thanks LRD for helping out the forum!

There was a local guy selling some z06 PBR 6 piston front calipers however he took them apart to strip them to get them ready for powdercoating. A couple of the seals got damaged in the process which is fairly normal so he was expecting to go to the dealer and pick up a set of new seals which you've always been able to do for GM calipers, even the CTS-V BBK.

No dice. Not only were they $145 PER SIDE (yes, just for the seals) but he said they were "unorderable".
Just to update this, the rebuild kits are now readily available from several sources and a great upgrade is the Stainless Steel Pistons sold by DRM. They insulate the brake fluid much better than the OEM aluminum pistons.

Has anyone worked out a way to use the Z06 Rear Calipers with the IS-F rear rotors? Those red calipers would look really good with my new red car! lol

There is an SC with 18 inch wheels that run this setup. From what I understand they had to shave the fins down just a bit, on the very top of the caliper. Someone started a thread about this car on here.

I tried a few times and didn't like how the brackets came out. A member of CL even went as far as sending me a rear ISF rotor. The good news is the rotor fits like a glove. Bad news was couldn't float the caliper in a way that would be safe. I had the stock one piston rear for the longest. I finally installed the TT rears. One day I'll try again.

I thought this was interesting information. A buddy of mine has mounted SC300 spindles to a MK3. I've heard of people doing all kinds mods to fit big brakes for the MK3's. Not sure if you all knew about this simple mod or not . Should be cool to see the car done with these vette brakes.

Here's a teaser shot from my install yesterday. Nevermind the filthy wheel and dirty car. For reference, that's a 19" SP500. clears calipers by miles.

Nope those are the Z06 calipers on the brackets you did. I just painted them to match and stuck a lexus decal on them.

Question, what brake master cylinder are you using? Maybe you mentioned this in the past 14 pages but I'm lazy.

The original. All that is needed is SS brake lines. Even the original banjo bolt from our caliper is reused with Z06 caliper.

Much obliged. I'll be updating my build thread soon with a few more pics and some narratives of my adventure in braking.
