Anyone know why these apparently come in different colors? I have one set that is blue and one set that is purple.

Sorry, one set is red, and one set in purple, I've seen a set for sale that was blue.... anyone else have a purple set?

Why don't you check the part number and stop wondering. If you check the site it tells you right there, pictures do not represent the actual product. I hope you are not going of a generic pic, but the pic of the actual springs them selfs.
FYI, purple was DF210 for GS4xx 98-05.

No pics, I have the actual springs... the red are from PhillyGS3 so I know they're all good, the purple is from HoustonSC or some SN like that... maybe they are DF's... they're pretty dirty, I guess I'll try to clean them up and see what I can find, thanks for the info. Ayyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeee... sorry, had to do it.

You have three different set of springs
Call Tanabe they can help you out.
The red ones are for GS300 and the purplelish kinda pink are for the GS4xx

Blue are NFs GS300
I think, not sure, white are NFs GS4xx

Sorry, to clarify, I have one Red Set, and One Purple Set. Would there be any difference between the Red and Purple physically other than color? I know the front end of a GS4xx obviously weighs more... I guess to be safe I'll take apart both sets and put the red springs on the bilsteins and the purple springs on the KYB's and sell the purple set.

I did hear that, buit I thought that was for DF model springs only.
When I was looking for my springs, no one had them. I was told they were back order for weeks, even months. I think this was right aroud the time I heard they were swapping to red.

GS300 are 1.8" drop front and 1.3" rear with a softer spring rate.
GS4xx are 2" front and 1.5" rear with a stiffer spring rate than for the GS300.
The weight difference between the two cars is not much, only 50lbs.
Most springs are used on both model GS's, so I would install which ever set fits the drop you are looking for.

Tannabe got back to me, both of my sets are legit, they just make all sets in red now.
