Mine is not floaty. It is like a water scooter hit the waves at speed. Kinda like rubbery bouncy. But it is perfect over bumps, road cracks, potholes, manhole covers. Only issue is on wavy roads.

I've run Bilsteins on Audi cars and Mercedes Benz largely due to their name and reputation and thinking that "monotube" is supposedly better. I've found the same exact problem which is their lack of rebound dampening which can cause a feeling of being bit floaty at high speeds and a little bit of a "pogo" effect after dips and bumps. A bit more like riding a wave in a boat then driving in a performance car. This is magnified with any lowering spring added to the Bilsteins (even though I used Bilstein Sport dampers supposedly made for lowering springs). Monotube is not always better at all just like linear springs are not always better than progressive. What is important is the overall shock tuning. This is why Im going to go with the Tokico HP when I need to replace.

cheers! Mike
