Talking TEIN Advantage

For those of you that hate having to get out of your car to adjust stiffness:

imagine cruising and then stiffening on the fly! well its possible!

So they FINALLY released it! I saw these at SEMA and they were pretty cool! Basically, you must mount it on top of the adjusters and bam! Instant cabin access...

But honestly, once the the novelty wears off, you'll set it to one setting and never mess with it...ask anyone who has coilovers with adjustable dampening...how often do they "adjust" it?

haha ur probobly right, except for some people who would normally drive with a stiff setting and have somone (parent, gf) in the car that doesnt like such a stiff ride and you could soften it. The new ES300 has basicly this setup then i guess doesn't it?

also from what i read it gives higher accuracy, enabling you to have 32 clicks instead of 16!

I can see a market here for those who have the Teins. I guess those who go to the track can set a Track mode. Another setting could be for the spouse, or driving with parents, or clients. With stiffness on the fly, one can theoretically find the best settings for a particular track, or soften it for those crappy city pavement. Definitely better than OEM settings where the "Sports" setting is still too soft.

For me, I can't use it with my front TRD STB, no room to mount. Not sure about my TOM's rear STB though.

oh no

QBRANCH u make a good point.. but very bad at the same time because that makes me sad!! there must be a way to fabricate it so it will work with a STB! im gonna go find pictures, keep in mind how small that is though, the unit is only 2.5cm tall! (1 inch) because its 1/4DIN same size as an HKS Boost Controller

Now you only need a height adjustment from the cabin and things would be perfect.
