Wow, great pix guys. If you dont wanna go air, coils are the next best thing. When you chop your springs you compromise the spring rate to rebound/travel ratio of the spring, not to mention the fact that your putting extra stress on the struts (even upgraded struts) when you chop, which will most definitely cost you MORE money in the end.

But for a temporary setup, and your just waiting for your stock struts to blow, I guess its okay besides the bouncy ride and scraped lips.

Like I said, if you aint goin air and wanna go low, coilovers are the best solution. Most people like Tein here (like myself) but the peace of mind of having full adjustability (ride height and dampening [if you have an EDFC ]) and knowing that the spring/stut combo used in the coilover was engineering to be totally compatible, is reason enough to justify the price of a nice set of coils.

The way I see it, coilovers can be viewed as a maintenance issue. You have to eventually change your stock springs and struts anyways over the life of the car, why not buy a nice coilovers that will last you the life of your car, saving you money in the long run?

Do it once, Do it right.

Dawg, When i saw the picture of your car dumped & rolling, That **** made me go nuts. The ride looks good man, I even made the picture my wallpaper. The only thing i would stress on is spacers, those wheels are hella sunken. None the less, it looks sick tho.
