Default Brakes, offsets and springs

1. Will a Supra TT Brake Upgrade change my offset? In case it matters, I have a '93 GS300.

2. Will springs from a first gen gs300 work an a second gen gs300/400?

3. Will coilovers from an IS300 work on a first gen GS300?

The reason I ask is that someone with an IS300 is selling his coilovers. If I get them, my friend wants to by my sport springs for his 99 GS400. Thanks.

I can only answer your first question.

The offset will not change...but your current wheels might not fit...especially if stock. The calipers are huge. You have to use a wheel with a "high disk". If they fit a Supra TT, then you are probably ok.

Hope that helps.

Ryan

I haven't heard of anyone doing the TT brakes on a first gen but I know they have been done on the SC. Might want to double check.

Thanks for the response. Anyone know if the supra TT brakes will fit on the first gen GS300? What about the rears? Has anyone done a Supra TT Rear upgrade on a GS300 or SC300/400?

I highly doubt it. You need BIG gaps between the rotors and wheel spokes to fit the huge calipers.
