Default Clicking brakes

Hi, I have a pronounced clicking noise in rear of my car. I believe it has something to do with the brakes due to the fact that every time I press the pedal, even lightly it will stop. Any ideas on how to stop this would be appreciated

I have the same issue . It's the little spring that is part of the parking brake. It tends to pop out of position and then it clicks with every rotation of the wheel. I fixed it before and I guess it must have popped out again. I'm about to just replace the part.

So it's either the left one, right one or both. You have to take it apart to see.

Part's involved:
47447-50010 Lexus OEM Shoe Hold Down Spring Pin No.
47449-30030 Lexus OEM O (For Overdrive Direct Clutch Piston) Ring
47449-40010 Lexus OEM Shoe Hold Down Spring Cup No.1 (For Parking Brake)

Dont mean to hi-jack the thread but....I have the same clicking in my front brakes. It is the brake clips that keep tapping the front rotors.

Anyone have any suggestions on this problem?

I had the same issue in the rear brakes. Mine was because an anti-rattle clip fell out. Lexus said it was pretty common. It is just a little metal black clip that holds your pads in place, and without it, will cause the brake pads to rattle around, until you press your brakes. When you press your brakes it goes away because there is pressure on the pads and no movement for the pads. Easiest way to check would be jack your car up, remove the wheel where you hear the noise, and check the clips. It sits right on top of the pads, and is held in by the caliper i believe. If the clips are in place, check to see if you can move your pads by hand. If there is movement with the clips on, you may need new clips.

oh yea....if you do happen to need new clips...Lexus was the only place I was able to find them...I think they cost like $19 for two clips.
