Sport suspension w/ Tein SS Springs
#2
I just installed TEIN SS springs on my '06 IS350 that had the sport suspension.
Results:
The ride is about identical, while on normal roads, freeways, etc. There is one major difference. The TEIN springs do display more "jolt" in the cabin when you hit a large crack or expansion joint (etc.) than with the OEM springs. This can be a factor in your decision, be aware that the car will ride a bit different.
Handling is much better.
I like the ride height look of these springs, the car sits much lower, but to me it looks a bit better than the Eibach drop amounts. My opinion.
Yes, the right front (passenger) side sits exactly 1/8" higher than the drivers side.
The drivers side rear will sag "approx" 1/8" lower than the passenger side rear with a full to the brim tank of fuel. At approx 3/4 tank, it becomes even.
I got my springs from Ebay (a verified TEIN dealer), $190.00. I installed them myself in approx 4 hours. It was fairly easy, using the instructions on another post on this website.

Thanks for the review .. I should have mine on by the end of the year.. I went with the Tein's because of the look too.. Eibach makes great springs, but its typically not low enough ..
