For a while my brakes are making a weird noise. Not your typical squeeking noise that brake pads make when it is going; its a different noise, kinda hard to explain.

How much does it cost to change out the pads?

If you change out your pads you usually need to resurface the rotors as well, Im planning to change out for cross drilled/slotted rotors and EBC Red pads, I got the TSIB done and I get dust in 2days!

Nothing if you go with the brake pad TSB.
If not,don't let Lexus do the brake job.You'll pay through the nose.

I checked the pads in the front and I have ~ .5" left of pads, but I get a weird grinding noise when I get on the brakes. Is that the pad TSB?

Yeah dude, I think they put the wrong pads on for ya. I got mine done about 700 miles ago and I can't tell a difference between the front and back dust levels.

I did the brake TSB twice and still dusty within 3 days. So now I'm just like screw it. I'll get better pads after these go.

I got all four break pads replaced at my local Lexus dealer for free, after i complained to them that the front wheels were making clicking noises.

I got the same thing done this week!!! Bad thing is that it didn't take care of the clicking noises. I get them when I do short sharp turns while pressing the brakes. I actually got new front rotors and pads.

Maybe they didnt even change it LOL but its ok like I said Im going to change it anyways.

get the tsb done its free if done correctly the brake dust disappears, the sound may actually be your tires if u havent changed them at 29k they,re charles barkley!
