My car is a 2000 GS300! The Daizen sway's were for handling and the other upgrades were for a peice of mind knowing that the work was completed and upgraded! The upgrades are money well spent!

Ah yes the stock sways. They are pretty darn flexible. Upgrade to after market sway bars. I will guarantee you that body roll will be greatly reduced.

Time to upgrade your sway bars! Keep in mind that I have upper strut bars in the front/rear also along with the sway bars underneath!

The Daizen sways come with the poly brushes. Daizen makes the poly steering and control arm brushings. Lexus only makes the stock rubber brushings.

Daizen doesnt make inner/outter tie rods and ball joints, as far as I know. These are Lexus OEM parts.

So has anyone here used the TRD sways with the Daizen bushings?

The TRD should come with bushings already. I dont remember the diameter (stock vs TRD) off the top of my head, but I didn't know you can use OEM bushings. Get new bushings if you must. Can't really take advantage of the TRD's stiffness if the bushings are worn out

Default whooohoo

Guys, I FINALLY got my ball joints, tie rods, Daizen sway bars w/ poly brushing, and full control arm brushing kit installed.

Lemmie tell ya, she's a WHOLE DIFFERENT BEAST. Cornering is amazingly flat, and brake dive is almost completely eliminated. I am currently lowered on Tein CS V.2 as well, set to a bit softer than middle.

I lubed them up plenty inside and outside, and a good amount of the squeaking coming from my car is gone. I think the stock rubber brushings squeak as well.

In terms of ride quality, there is a bit more transferance of road feel to the cabin, but its hardly noticeably and I actually like it more. It definitely feels more responsive.

My mechanic convinced me not to install the steering rack brushing kit, so this maybe on sale in the classifieds.

You guys definitely needs theses mods.

Why would your mechanic recommend you not to install it? TMengineering, Sewell, etc all sell the steering rack bushings. I highly doubt they would push a product that isn't good for our car.

I've had mine for over a year now and I cannot have it any other way. Steering is more precise/direct without any harshness.

I've actually heard that the steering rack brushing mod adds too much vibration and street bump feedback to justify the more precise steering feel. But then again, its all hearsay. My steering rack brushing was basically brand new for 79K, and I'm just holding onto it until my stock brushing goes bad for the due swap.

Lemmie add one more comment about the control arm brushing kit and Daizen sways. I've had a chance this week to put a good 100 miles on the freeway with these mods. Gawd, its like a new car. There is complete stability in 100+ mph freeway speeds, moreover; the car is definitely more responsive. There is no lag when you smash the pedal to when the torque smashes your a$$ into that fine Lexus leather. I believe this is just as much a performance mod than a suspension mod. You can take off from a dig and stop quicker way better than stock. I'm lovin this more and more
