Wheel offsets??? How do I tell?
Ok so I finally decided which wheels to get and I placed the order today. The only problem is the dealer could not tell me what the offsets were and I want to make sure the clear my Supra BBK. I ordered the new g-spiders from lexus. They are 18X8 front and 18X8.5 rear. Is there a way to find the offsets on the wheel? And what is the min. offsets again for the supra bkk? Thanks!
here's a pic of my new wheels. can not wait to get them on the car tomorrow. let's hope the tires make it in too!

already installed with the BBK! They fit fine! Just as I thought they ARE listed on the back of the rims! If I recall correctly they are +45 in the front! Love that BBK! Best mod I've done yet! Now I just the the power to go with the braking!

The ONLY way to verify if a wheel will clear BBK is to get a template of the brake caliper. Offsets mean nothing by themselves, as there is no one STANDARD offset value that will work for all wheels. It all depends of the spoke design, not the offset value.
APRacing and StopTech have templates available online and I'm sure other brake manufacturers do too.
I have a template of the Supra TT caliper that I can e-mail the PDF file to people if they pm me their e-mail addy.
Been sending that template out to members for 5 years now.

Yeah, poor choice of words. Meant to imply that it didn't look like a tight fit, but you can't judge for sure from the pic. Kevin & have the same wheels, so if there were no issues on his install I should be fine.
