Default Help choosing shocks

I need to look into getting shocks. I'm dropped 1.7F/1.2R. Would KYB GR-2's work? These are the only ones that I have experience.

I'm not looking to break the bank either. My car is a cruiser, not a racer so I don't need top of the line. Just want them to be able to handle my drop

I think KYB's are pretty good. There pretty popular and a lot of ES guys are using them.. I'm actually thinking of getting them for my ES as well..

You may want to check into Bilstein and Tokico

GL..

hi bigbea, i remember when you got your espelirs few months ago and i asked you if you were going to get shocks too! did the espelirs blow your stocks?

i have a friend with the espelir/kyb combo, i've driven in it and its similar to stock. i'm just curious about an espelir/bilstein combo though. i've yet to find someone with this combo. GL!

The KYG GR-2's sure will work. They cost $86 each on tirerack.com http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/S...lar=&brand=all

Since you are on 20 inch wheels, your current spring and this shock combo will be perfect for your car for street driving. They sure won't break the bank either.

Coilovers are kinda overkill for a street driven car on 20 inch wheels, unless you want to tuck your tires, which doesn't seem to be what you want to do.
