TOM'S 6-Piece Suspension Brace Kit & Rear LCB
Well, I finally got the parts installed. These parts are available from Steve Ganz (of course)
TOM'S 6-Piece Suspension Brace Kit
TOM'S Rear LCB
Let me tell you, TOM'S products are TOP NOTCH. They cost a lot, but the quality is EXCELLENT.
I believe that I'm going to go with the TOM'S Front LCB so I'll have all the same brand (I'm **** like that) so if someone wants, I'll sell them my TRD LCB...PM me...
As for the function of these parts, it's suppose to keep the rear end (all the parts go on the rear end) straight. As most people know, the rear end of the GS is one loose caboose...
After test driving about 30 miles with a 2 mile canyon run, I can definitely say that I feel the difference. The rear end is much tighter now (and who doesn't like a tight rear end?!) and it feels more "solid"...
Anyways, onto the picture...this is all after the installation...all the TOM'S pieces are Burgundy/Red in color...the Electric Blue is the TRD rear Sway Bar and the H&R coilover are green with black springs...I have damn box of Crayolas going on down here!

The installation is sorta tricky. I would recommend you get someone who's a very competent mechanic to do the work...it's about a 2-3 hour install. If your mechanic needs help, I have a few more pictures that they can use for reference (and they're all hi-res...2048 x 1536)...the instructions that come with the kit are hand drawn and in Japanese...
If you're trying to figure how the pictures are oriented, use the Sway Bar and exhaust pipes as reference (as well as the drivetrain). The resonators (the "tubes" on the exhaust pipes that look like "glasspacks") is in FRONT of the rear Lower Chassis Brace crossbar...the "open" side of the TOM'S rear Lower Chassis Bracs is towards the FRONT of the car (look a the first picture so you can see what I mean)...from that, you should be able to orient the pictures...also, the ends of the swaybars (the flat part where you actually mount the bar...NOT the rubber ring...) point toward the front of the car...
REAL MODS! That's what it's all about! Not some ****ing blinking lights and shiny parts....

Wow, nice Manaray!
I believe you're the first on CL to get these parts put on?
6-pieces MUST make a difference somewhere
Anyways, glad to see you pioneering new parts for our beloved GS's. You're writeup and install pics were useful as usual.

I also have the rear LCB. It weighs about 7-10lbs.
LexusRules: there are 2 types of chasis brace. The one that steve has will guarantee that any exhaust system will clear it. The other one I believe is specifically if you have the tom's exhaust. I personally would have liked that one better because it is more solid. but oh well. The chasis brace itself is easy to put on. Looking at the links, I think that may be a little difficult, but with Manarays pics it looks pretty simple now. I initially didn't know where the links were supposed to go.
Manaray: Good looking set up. I was kinda bummed that steve told me that someone else had ordered the whole set up too. I guess I'll just have to come up with a new peformance mod. (I really got something cooking) I just need to finalize a few other things before I can let the "cat out of the bag" Most people with forced induction will be very interested in this.

Thanks guys...the handling is superb! I just did some canyon runs and the rear end is much more planted...I like it.
Sasha - I wasn't dissing your change in lights...I changed mine too...to B1's (they're a brighter/bluer white but not "blue")...interior and my wedge in the DRL light...I plan on changing my highbeam to a PIAA Xtreme also...
I was dissing blinking LEDs, neon, strobes, etc...
Sick - 540? Hehehehehe...it outhandled a 540 right after I got the sway bars and the front STB put in...I just did a 3 hour "market research" test drive (through canyons) in a 540 and that car's handling is WAY over-rated! It's not that good...and the interior sucks monkey *****. But the outside looked good...
As for the "open ended" TOM'S rear LCB (Type-B), unless you remove your resonators, you can't fit the "box" version...
Ricky - PM me and let me know what's up with the "cat"...I have something "cooking" in terms of "performance" also...
