i was told by my friend that ls400(1995+) calipers/rotors are direct swap
i was told by my friend that ls400 calipers/rotors are direct swap for my gs400? is that true, for both front and rear? i have brembo rotors but stock calipers and frankly my brakes kinda suck, so if i buy ls400 brakes and etc should it work? thank-uz

Direct swap - sort of. Bolts up but you need a spacer to make it work. Do a search and you will find all the info you need on how to make the fronts work even without spacer.

WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!
who told u that??? 'cause i want to know
I have had the SUPRA TT calipers with 2 piece DBA rotors for the last 6 years
and i tell u this.... if u are using the stock 17's U NEED 15MM spacers
Im using H&R 15mm spacers with longer studs
even then, the calipers were clearing my rim by 1mm or so
As for the LS400 Calipers, I personally don't know, but i heard that u need special brackets etc... So I SAY just do SUPRA TT + 15mm spacers

i have aftermarket wheels, 19" volk GT-V staggered setup i am pretty sure they will clear , so i am going to go ahead and order supra TTcalipers rotors for front and rear for my gs400

i just hate if some one else went through what i went through back in 01..
back then i don't think no1 had the setup or was very rare, long story short, i put the brakes everything good, last sec, "oh, the brakes don't clear"
had 2 call up RMM and wait for them 2 order it etc, 1 week downtime on a hoist etc etc... not a good experience i tell ya..
