Vibration @ 60 after Braking Upgrade..Why??
And yes I searched"vibration" already..
After installing drilled/slotted rotors,SS brake lines and new pads Ive noticed a heavy vibration at 60mph that was NEVER there before and was wondering what could be the culprit..Again this started immediately after the upgrades and I did the usual checks ie,lug nuts, tire pressure etc..Any help appreciated..

Did you change wheel position, rotate tires at all?
GS300 are very sensative to wheel balance around 58-62 mph. I had same issue after new tires, took me 5 goes to get wheel balance back again.
Had to go and find a Hunter balance machine (on West Coast some Les Schwab Tire Centers have them).
Do a search for Hunter wheel balancer in your area and get them done, no guarantees but its worked for many on this forum.

Possible the rotors could be out of balance, not sure where or how you could correct that.

First guess is the rotors. What brand did you go with?

I've been using iRotors for over 2 years without any problems...
It possible for the hub bearing to wear and you only feel it when braking b/c it puts more stress on the bearing. A worn bearing will cause you tire to spin out of balance.

You can jack the car up and try to push on the top and bottom of the tire to see if their is any free play. You shouldn't be able to do it all.
If you slightly feel it gve, then there might be something to it -i.e. hub bearing.

I had the SAME PROBLEM when I swapped out my OEM's for x/s Brembo's. I thought it was the rotor as well until my friend suggested that maybe the hub has debris/rust on it. We took the problem rotors off and inspected the hubs (where rotors are pressed onto). We grinded down only surface rust and debris put the rotors back on and all is well. The rotor wasn't sitting perfectly flush on the hub even after we fully torqued the lugs! So the rotor must have been slightly hitting against the brake pads which made it vibrate (and even more pronounced at higher speeds). Check it out...good luck!

no rings can cause vibration unless your wheels are made for lexus hubs. Its also possible the wheel has debris or something between it and the rotor causing a wobble. One way to tell is to jack one wheel up at a time and spin them to see they are running true. Also possible to have knocked one off the wheels weights off accidently.
