Default Need advice

I just purchase my current rotors around Feb. 06 and now I’m getting shaking but only when I brake hard. I assume my rotors are warped, but the guys at a shop I go to said they just need to be (match turned on the Wheel?) WTF! He said you could turn warped rotors. I thought you couldn't turn warped rotors. Well I would love to save some cash but I'm not sure what to do. Can someone give me advice.

Warped is a general term people seem to use. More often than not, it is un-even pad material deposition, or pad wear. If rotors were to get warped, you should see the center part move left and right. So yes, you can turn your rotors, as long as they will be thick enough (in speck).

You can avoid this by making sure that your hub, rotors, and wheel hub are clean of all debris. Also, tightening up the wheels with a torque wrench assures even stress on the entire rotor. This helps as well. So, go them turned and save some dough.
