A bit off topic, but.....Holy cow the IS has a full TRD suspension upgrade kit. I'm SOOOO jealous!!!

This would seriously solve 90% percent of my complaints with the GS suspension lol!

damn things look like they would fit the GS...

Just purchased a 99 GS300 with little more than 120k miles. Just recently changed tie rods, put on megan ez coilovers on 18x8 wheels with 225/40/18 tires mounted. I believe it is out of the box height of the megans and it is pretty low already. No vibrations after wheels and tie rods were changed, but when i do turn the steering wheel all the way to the left or right, i do hear some clicking sounds, is that a sign of ball joints failure? I have a set of ball joints in my trunk, but my mechanic said it is ok and it was the inner tie rods that was causing the vibration/shaking during highway driving. Any advice or opinions on what that clicking sound when turning the wheel all the way on either side may be? Thanks in advance!

Check your castor arm bushings aka trailing arm #2 if I recall, those can make the noises as well

I have no noise from inside the cabin on my 02 GS300 but the car is shaking a lot on the highway. Wasn't if its because of the balljoint. How can I test it? I lifted the car up and when i look at the passenger side the crown bolt looks caked in old grease. This is whats making me think its the Joint.

Hey guys, new to the forum.

I actually just picked up a 2000 GS300 and while my front end isn't making noise. I have no ideal if the ball joints have ever been changed.
The car has 207k miles and is lowered on Megans, Wondering if I should order the Moog Lower Ball Joints and replace them.

Anything else I should pay attention suspension wise.

Thanks!

If you don't know when the last time they were changed, you should absolutely change them.

Thanks! I just found out from the Original owner that they were replaced at 150k miles by Lexus. Car now has 207k, so I may inspect them when I am replacing the rotors, but what do you all think?? The car runs great and no noises..

These were also replaced by Lexus at 150k miles, basically most if not all of the suspension wear and tear parts were replaced by Lexus at 150k according to the owner.

This is the same as OEM, all others I've tried are varying degrees of crap. Remove the space.
