they are not, least they weren't when they first came out.....the poly was cast poorly with many airholes in it which leads to poor tolerances (also would lead to camber shifting). they were remade i think but i dont know the state they are in now

the PSB's i used in my rear trac link bushings werent the best quality but they did their job for me

Anything is an improvement over the worn out stockers (183k miles on them). Weather hasn't permitted me to do much outside yet....

If it was pressed in it would be tricky to install if it was higher durometer. These will be the same high quality casting process as our other bushings (zero air bubbles etc) and features lubricating channels to hole grease on the crush tube.
Just another option for you all. Ours will also have a 60k mileage guarantee.

Any updates on these ? Eta ? I need to replace my rack bushings and would prefer to try these.

I’ve been using the PSB for about a year now. Performance at first was good – a noticeable improvement compared to the worn out stock bushings – but within the last 3 or 4 months has degraded substantially. The car has started wandering especially at highway speeds, so much so that i wouldn't be comfortable letting someone else drive. Believe I’ve put about 8k – 10k miles on the PSB. Before gambling on the wildly inconsistent Daizen/TM Engineering customer experience I decided to give the blue ebay bushings a try and just got them yesterday. They are clearly a superior product to PSB without any air bubbles, a much thicker metal sleeve, and what appears to be significantly harder polyurethane. Will be installing this weekend and will update shortly thereafter.

To follow up on my last post, I replaced the PSB with Ricochet last weekend. The one-piece polyurethane bushings were a PITA to install, but the difference is worth the effort. In the 40k miles I’ve owned the car it has never been this good. I’ve been surprised to find myself going around cloverleaf exit/entrance ramps 10-15mph faster all while the car feels more controlled and planted than before. The steering wheel doesn’t budge from hitting a pothole. And most importantly, the ridiculous highway wandering problem has been solved. Amazing how much difference a sub $50 part can make.

Anyone know the oem part # or if there is another non poly based option? Doesn't look like moog makes one for our cars.

Poly is the way to go with this. Don't waste your money on an oem type part. Just make sure you installl it with some synthetic grease and you are good to go for a long long time.

well today was oil change day and i thought you know what since i'm under the car might as well install my Daizen sway bar bushings and steering rack bushings. I've been sitting on these 2 kits for years so i guess now is a good time to install them.

took about 3hrs maybe a little more for oil change, sway bushings, and steering bushings + clean up etc... I took my time and thankfully had all the tools and Henry's DIY was to the tee.. The sways were self explanatory so really no issues there..

shortly after ran to the store and took 95 home to get a feel.. in lower speeds everything feels a little tighter and for some reason braking and coming to a complete stop seems much better and a more solid feel...

at hwy speeds i still have the notorious 60mph shake/vibration but after that the car is pretty solid and tight...

These two up grades were well worth it IMO... Should have done this a long time ago..

Also still have the complete Daizen front end bushing kit sitting in one of the rooms lol

A big Thanks to Henry... Thanks Bud..

I've been wanting to do my steering rack bushings, but I wanna wait to see if figs comes out with a set. I'm starting to think I'm just gonna pull the trigger on some daizens.

Anyone know if ricochet bushings for 1990-2000 sc400 will fit my '98 gs400?

Well the 98 Rack bushing for the big side is listed on Sewell's site as PN 4551730050.
And best I can tell the 99 SC400 bushing on the big side is 4551724030, it looks very different.

Hard to tell, take a look.
