Talking 2IS Tein Comfort Sport Coilovers available!!!

I just placed my order for some 2IS Tein Comfort Sport coilovers!!! Tein has had this product available in Japan for about 3 months now, but for some reason they haven't brought it to the US Anyways, I was able to place an order for a set, and according to the shop, they should take about 7-10 days to arrive. I can't wait to get those suckers on!!!

For those wondering: I contacted Tein and asked them if there was going to be any difference between the Japan spec and US spec version of these coilovers. I also asked them about the warranty on the product.

Tein said that typically both products are the same, with the exception that sometimes the Japan spec springs tend to be softer/smoother than US spec. They also said that the warranty would be the same regardless of where I purchased them!!!

Hi Toe,

You can purchase them through your local authorized Tein dealer. The retail price on the 2IS CS coilovers in the US will be $1,400.00. I bought mine for a bit more than that, but overall I think I got a good deal and should have the coilovers in about 1.5 weeks instead of waiting for an eternity for Tein to release them here.

The shop that I ordered the Tein coilovers from will install them. I'm also waiting to receive a Tanabe Medallion Touring exhaust and a set of 20" Auto Couture Latives. I will post pics as soon as I start getting those items installed!!!

Just about to pull the trigger myself on these. The springs are 20 and 16 KG, which is really stiff. How's the ride? Is it possible to get it near stock on the softest setting?

Hmm....I was told that the CS is delayed for the IS & SC.

If not, then I'm looking forward to see them.

You guys are right! The CS have been delayed for the US market, but they have been out in Japan for 3 months, that's the reason why I ordered them from Japan, 'cause I'm tired of freakin' waiting for Tein to release them in US. I will post pics when I get them!!
