Questions about stock suspension...
When I bought my GS400, I was under the impression that the suspension would be more aggressive and lower. Is that true?
Looking at some pictures on edmunds.com, i hoped my car would look like the pictures, but it doesnt.

Look at the red car, was there an optional suspension on the GS's that not all GS400 had? Or is this picture just a prototype of something...?
There is another picture (the blue GS) on edmunds.com, which looks more like my car. I have noticed that my car would look so much better if i lowered her about 1.5". I really do not want to drop the car, b/c i do not want to sacrifice the smooth and plush stock ride. Are there any good cheaper solutions than a coilover set up that will have a soft ride? Thanks guys...

There is no doubt a lowered car is much prettier, obviously the downside is that the car is tougher to drive around cities. Most new cars now have a small wheelgap, but still maintain a decent ground clearance. Or some others have small wheelgap, lower ground clearance, but the front bumper cover is angled in sharply. Thus to avoid breaking/scraping the bumper when parking too close to the curb.
