I love my GS4 but wish to upgrade the stock ride. I've seen a lot of talk about the L-Tuned set which appears to be performing well for most folks. I bought my LCB and STB from Carson's Toyota as everyone else has, and they had a pretty good price for the L-tuned. However, I noticed that Tein adjustable coilovers cost between 2-3 times more, which actually seems pretty reasonable for an adjustable performance suspension.

I'm looking for a set that's adjustable from softer than stock (just in case I need to drive cross-country or somethin' all the way to racing stiffness for track days. I noticed a few members like RacingAristo already use coilovers... how is ride quality (at a reasonable setting) compared to stock and compared to L-Tuned? What does adjustment entail (do you reach into wheelwells, put on a lift, remove wheels, etc.?) How did you come to choose the model you own? (And where did you guys get em? )

Anyhow, this is my first day with ClubLexus and this board looks awesome; I think I'm gonna be spending a lot of time here. Advice is greatly appreciated!

G-Force - The best setup would probably be the Tein CS's. These start at about "stock" and go to medium stiff...they are pretty pricy ($1400 or so) but I think it's worth it if you're concerned about dampening adjustability....
