Default Need some direction from some Tein CS owners

Hey guys..I recently purchased a set of barely used Tein CS coilovers from a CL member and will be installing them in a day or two....When I received the coilovers it appeared as though they were still set in a lowered position (The CL member was running 19s).

My question to you guys with 20s and Tein CS is can you give me a thread count front and rear (let me know which thread you use as a starting point)...at least as a starting point (lower than stock) that can put me at about 1.5 to 2 fingers front and rear....I am trying to avoid putting on and taking off the wheels 50 times

My current setup is
front - 20x8.5 +35mm 245\35\20
rear - 20x9.5 +40mm 275\30\20

Thanks in advance for your help..

You shouldn't need to take the wheel off 50 times..just look how much you want it raised or lowered by, then move the perches up or down by that distance.

Thanks but since the coilovers are used and were sent to me still at the lowered height...I really need a starting point..

actually doing that you will lower / raise the car more than what you want. most likely due to the fact that the coilover is not straight up, it's at an angle.

of all the analysis i have done, do 75%. meaning if you want to lower the car by 1", then lower the coils by 0.75"

you can download the manual on Tein website. they have a recommended starting point. I went a few threads lower than that and my car lowered about an inch. Since you are getting 20s, there's at least another inch less of wheel gap.
