Default Bilsteins Arrived!!

My "new" used Bilstein PSS arrived today!! It's going to be tough to wait until wheels and tires are bought. They should all go on the car sometime this spring.

I'm pretty sure I will. I have been reading here at CL about all of the coilover options and the Bilsteins seemed to be liked by many for all around comfort and handling. When Pearldriver offered them at a price I couldn't resist, that pretty much made up my mind which way to go. The Tein CS's sound very nice too, especially with extra control for dampening but they're a bit more spendy. Pics as soon as they are installed with new wheels.

Default I'm considering Bilsteins too

First of all, congratulations on getting a high quality coilover at a good price.

Would you kindly post your impressions of them after installation? I am considering the PSS too but have heard that they may give a bumpy ride and would like to hear feedback from actual end-users of this product before I make up my mind.

Also, what was your suspension setup before the BIlstein PSS?

Thanks

I'll definitely post a report on my evaluation of the Bilsteins. Patience will have to be the key here for a couple of reasons. #1) I'm in Alaska and spring is a ways off, #2) I want to have the wheels, tires and shocks all done at once so it won't happen until spring. Current setup is 100% stock, a floaty luxo type of ride. Do a search here at CL for "Bilsteins" you'll find a few posts by other users who are very happy with the setup.
