Default Finally got my spare together!

One more upgrade finally completed.

When I got the front big brake kit I knew the stock factory rim spare wouldn't work any longer. I then bought a Supra compact spare only to find that didn't fit either.

So I ended up buying an L-Tuned 18" (OZ) rim which just fits over the brakes. I bought it some time back with a separate tire, and only JUST found time to get the tire put on the rim.

Feels good to get a bunch of things done... Especially this one cuz I hated driving around without a spare.

would your new 18" spare fit into the spare compartment in the trunk?

Congrats Bit. I thought you were done with this awhile ago. Did you make sure the balance weight was put in the right place?

By 'right place' I think you mean NOT near the face/spokes (where they might hit the caliper). There might be a problem where they put them I'm not sure (I haven't put the spare on yet) but I got the guy to give me some more stick on weights and I can just put them in the same place (around) but further away from the spokes. No biggie. And if I still can't get it to work I can just rip the darned things off and drive slow.

StopTech did this to my wheels as a temporary measure and it was OK. My spare is still in this temp stage. I figure it's a spare.
