Question Rmm strut brace-Show Or Go GS430

GS430? Does a RMM strut brace perform or instal any better than a TRD?

thanks

I think they are about the same. The TRD looks a lot beefier but both are from reputable companies and many members have both on. They are both strong units. The RMM gives you future flexibility of having Teins with EDFC. You may not care now but things may change.

That's funny-from the pictures the RMM looks beefier than the TRD. If they both perform the same ,the TRD is half the price so I'll prob go with that. Is L-tuned a good place to get it? My friend is a Toyota parts guy if anyone has the part number.
Sorry to create new thread on same subject, but my question evolved.

I'd say go with the RMM

just in case the future brings you coilovers

you are already prepared

plus it looks HOT

The RMM is a big STB but it is 3 parts. The TRD is one solid piece.

As for places to get it, if you mean ltunedparts (Carson Toyota), then go for it. He is a CL vendor that has been here for a long time. I've bought plenty from them. The STB also is listed periodically in the classifieds if you are patient and vigilant.

I had TRD STB and switched to the RMM one to accomodate the EDFC modules. Yes the TRD one is several pieces welded together and painted vs. the RMM having the mounts plus a center bar held in place with bolts, but the RMM one certainly isn't going anywhere. The mounts, bar and bolts are VERY sturdy.

I liked the TRD one fine but I must say the RMM one looks much nicer!
