Default tt brakes yea or ney

i found a set of tt brake calipers at a junk yard for 50 dollers each. with a 90 day warranty. i dont know if i should get them or not. it sounds like a good deal but they are used and from a junk yard out of state.plus i still would need the roters and pads that i cant afford at this time. i also have my stock 16 on took my albas off way to heavy. so i will need to get new whees that i plan on geeting this winter so i guess that dose not matter.. what do yall think????????

yeah, the calipers are cheap, but you need to keep in mind the rotors, the pads and shims, and also new wheels and tires to fit on it. that becomes a very big purchase

I have a 1st Gen GS300, so this may be a little different. I love my TT brakes. I'm using them with dimpled and slotted rotors all the way around and stainless lines. I also needed 8mm spacers on the front to clear the spokes on my +40 offset rims. No downside.. the braking is excellent. I can practically make the car do an "endo" if I stomp the pedal, and that is only with OEM Supra pads on the front and cheap Beck Arnleys on the back!

If you found a deal like that on TT calipers.. buy them now. I paid $300.00 for mine off a wrecked TT and I considered that a great deal since they came with new pads too.
