Default SPRINGS: Lowest drop without coilovers...

Hi CL,

I'm looking for a set of Springs that will drop the car approx 1.75" in the front and 1.5" in the rear. I had Eibach PRo Kit but never installed them because the drop wasn't low enough(Only 1 inch all around). The web site shows the Sportline springs will have a lower drop but I'm looking for a 1.5 finger gap with 19/35's in front and 19/30's in the back.

Any experience with Tein S.Tech, H&R? I'm leaning toward Sportline because they are supposed to have the most comfortable ride.

I think the Espelirs have a 1.8" drop. according to the members who have them, they are also very stock-like in ride so you won't be giving up that Lexus ride quality.

I had the Eibach springs and they only dropped it like 1.2" or so and I hated the ride. That was the kick in the pants I needed to get coilovers and I am not disappointed. I have heard the same thing about the Espelir springs, that feel almost like stock.

Unfortunately, I can't afford to spend $1800 on coilovers right now or I would get Tein CS with an EDFC. 1300.00 plus installation. In the future, but not right now.

I can spend $500.oo on a quality drop though

So it sound like Espelir are the ones. Anyone have photos of an Espelir drop on 19's?

Daizen springs are also an option. They are 1.9" in the front and 1.6" in the rear. They also give u a stock like ride. U have to match them with the right struts though. On any spring they will ruin your stock strut in no time. Here are some pics of the Daizen springs with some 18"

Gamma! That's a nice drop!!!! Exactly what I'm lookinf for!!

1.9 in the front and 1.6 in the rear is perfect! I went to Daizen.com but it isn't what I was looking for. I see their banner on the forum somewhere but not today. Does anyone have a web site and prices? I'd like to spend 200-225.00 - same price as the Eibach's - but I am willing to go as high as 265.00. I'm trying to save because the shop that will be installing the springs is charging an arma dn leg for the install ($250).

Thanks Again. !

Bit those are Lexforlifes old 18". They are Mille Miglia Evo5 I think. Darius for those springs Pm Todd (DoubleWhoosh) from TM enginering or Steve (Supratrd) and while your at it get some L-tuned struts. That would be the perfect combo IMO. The ride would be almost stock to. Also they dont sell anything on the Daizen site. It is www.daizensporttuning.com. I wish they come out with that damn camber kit

That's a nice drop too. Both of these pretty much represent how my car is going to look: Factory body with no kit, 19's and a nice drop.

You mentioned that the stock shocks won't last long with the lowered springs; how long is "not long"? Two weeks or a year?

Also, I have a nubie question. When I see Bilstein or KYB "adjustable" shocks, does that mean I can adjust the ride comfort from stiff to soft?

I've got H&R sport springs, gave a decent drop and I have had them in for over two years, with no strut problems. So I dont think that you will get strut problems just because you change springs.

Espelir on 18s. I was very happy with the drop. It also gives you the lower nose look.

YEAH! Not everyone like that look but I LOVE IT! I hate that the rear wheel well on cars isn't even with the front. It makes the car look lowered in the back and raised in the front. You NEED the lower nose to balance everything out. It also add aggressiont o the overall look of the car
