Hey guys, i was wondering what was the average time to get your springs / coilovers / shocks installed? Lexus quotes 8 hours or something like that.

 

8hrs? that seems way 2 long, i went 2 a speed/repair shopand they did my 4 replacement rotors,pads,tire mounting 2 new rims,coils,drop and alignment in like 6 or so....so just coils shouldn't b that long...

 

ummmm...mines S/S took about 4 hrs....if everything goes fine.

The 8 hrs is probably just a quote....Im sure it may be for 2 men at 4hrs each....cuz doing the suspension swap....you'll need an extra set of hands. You may just want to stick around while they install it on your ride.....get your stop-watch ready....plus...make sure they NOT fooling around while working on your ride.

any mechanic with decent knowledge and two usable hands would take at MOST 2 hrs to do the job

 

so 1-4 hours....man....better bring my portable DVD player and a venti starbucks. nobody can take me home and back or whatever so i have to sit at the shop.

oh well, its worth it, finally getting rid of that FAT fender gap you all see in my sig
