Wow. That's pretty tight, bluelex. From what I can tell from the template, you'll need at least 51mm from the stock rotor to the back of the rim. You actually need a little more breathing room but at about 51, the calipers will touch. StopTechs need about 52mm.

I thought the same thing. Luckily my wheels will clear the StopTechs. Whew!

Just think of it as you just saved yourself about 2k (give or take $$ depending on what kit).

haha the problem would be once you get brakes for one you would want that for the other man, the way i see it, if i were really to own two GS, i would make one into very classy vip look and the other into aggressive sporty look. the gettins are definitely classy look so get high disk wheels for the other car and get brakes that's what i would do

What made you decide you want a brake kit? Function or looks or something else? For me it was function and looks. With bigger rims I think the stock rotors on the front at least just look 'silly' and the brake feel get mushier with bigger rims. After my upgrade I love the looks and the feel/performance.

25mm spacers front and back and you should be fine. Just my 2 cents.

Are you trying to take TLW's title of Ancient Thread Bumper away from him?
