Default Damage From Phoenix Hail Storm

AHHHHH, my IS350 went through quite a bit last night from that crazy storm!

First, I don't have covered parking at my work in Scottsdale so my car basically sat out there at took it. I've counted about 4 noticeable dents on my hood and on the roof, but I'm sure there's more damage that I can't see due to it being a black car and dirty from the storm.

I also drove through at least 6 inches of water in some parts just trying to get home from work. It took me 1.5 hours to get from Scottsdale to Glendale. Streets were soooo flooded. I was literally driving on the median down roads just to try to stay on the highest point of the street so my car wouldn't start flooding. It was scary! Luckily it didn't flood.

Does anybody in AZ know of any good dent repair shops? What's the typical pricing and how do they actually do it? Should I even contact my insurance about this? I haven't confirmed it yet, but I'm guessing there's going to be at least some paint chip damage from the hail too.

if you can find a good pdr guy that doesnt drill holes that would be a good way to go, but if your paint chipped like mine did than it will need to be painted.
your story sounds exactly like mine except insert gold ls430 instead of black is350

Cool

Based on the recommendations I read here, I went to Martin over at AZ Street Custom with my DD after an accident where a hit and run driver smacked the bejeezus out of my front end. After getting everything worked out with the insurance company, which was a task and a half, we agreed to do a color change on the car with my picking up the difference between the repairs covered and the cost for the additional materials. Cut to today, and I went with a friend to pick up the car. Going from a champagne metal flake to a stark white is not an easy task, nor is a complete color change. True to 1st's experience, my car is absolutely stunning now, and looks better than it did when I bought it two years ago as a DD (it's not a Lex, but still in the Toyota family since it's a Solara).

So, if anyone in AZ needs a recommendation from members here - Martin is definitely it! Great communication, excellent work, and hard working. Hell of a nice guy, too.

He asked me when I picked it up if I knew anyone who was hit by the hail, so I thought I'd throw it out there in case you need it.

i had the same thing happen to my G35 about 2-3 weeks after I bought it. I had 28 small dents in the car. I called a paintless dent repair guy and he fixed all of the damage in about 3 hrs and even found a few dents that I couldn't even see

Dave Joling paintless dent repair: (602) 261-0101.
