i will be at the drift event this weekend(september 5th) cohen stadium
you guys should come and support the drifting community
unfortunately i will not be competing as my car is not ready :/

starting to hate my SC just a little not going to lie
they ordered the wrong water pump for it
so i ordered the right one cause 90 dollars more which i know might not seem like a big deal but for a full time student that works part time pays for his own car, gas, phone etc it adds up
then i look at my timing belt and it looks like its about to break off so i ordered another one of those not too expensive
so hopefully saturday i'll be done after like 3 months of work

dont sweat it man we all have our setbacks, after i bought my GS i got laid off bout a month later, no warning either it was pretty crappy. just got to keep going strong, im still trying to get the little bit of hail damage i have fixed, and on top of that i still got work to do on my other GS........lol it will all come with time.

i was at whataburger(montwood) last night round 2-3 in the morning and there was a sick gs white dropped to the floor decent offset was that any of you?
got the beast back today
totally broke 2 blocks away from the mechanic shop :/ i think i have a short anyone know how to find a short or know a good shop i could take it to im desperate guys but i love my lexus

Hey TxLexus, I'm in the EP area too.
Just had my 400 sent here last week so I can get started working on her.
I'm glad to see other owners around, so when I get her ready for the road I know I won't be the only one out here.
By the way do you know where I can go besides the dealer to get work done?

Can anyone PM me and let me know of a good place to go to get work done on a SC400?
I'm tired of looking at going to AutoZone and talking to the dealership...
I just need a place or two that works with our type of cars and knows what he is doing...

Only shop i ever took my GS to was atomic on mesa but im not sure if its still there, other than that i pretty much do my own work, that or a good buddy of mine is a real good mechanic that i trust and if i cant handle the work then i take it to him. Also if you guys need a hand give me a call or pm me im more than willing to help out a fellow CL member in EP. Pm me for my cell#, im up for the idea of getting a few lexus owners together, let me know.
