i was leaving school this past tuesday and got hit from the side.. and the b!#$* nearly took off my bumper.. at first i didn't think it was tooo bad since it just looks like the bumper popped out.. but then i see damage to the frame.. and my trunk is alittle off center
her insurance is paying for everything and the claim adjuster gave me an estimate for 3400 i don't know if thats much




does anyone know any good repair shops around houston,tx
or should i go to the dealer at westside lexus?

 

I know of a great body shop - Joseph Auto in SW Houston... but since insurance is paying, why not just let the guys over at Westside take care of it? I had them take care of some paint defects under warranty and they did a great job. I've not heard of anyone say anything bad about them in the past either.

 

If insurance is paying, take it to the dealer. DO NOT take it to a place called R&B @bellaire. They SUCK!! The pic below shows the aftermath when a sHi7 civic hit me. At least theyre paying for your repair, To make along story short I had to come out of pocket because they didnt have any documentations, and I trusted them to pay me, though they left to another state. I paid R&B 2800, The bodywork was decent, although they charged me deaelr prices for used items. They changed my tailight and bumper, wich I found out they had bought from a junkyard Also they scratched my paint and wanted to charge me extra to fix it Their paint match SUCKED MAJOR @$$ The chances of you taking it there are almost 0, But JUST in case. Sorry for the rant, Im still pissed
