Default 1995 Gs300 Dfw

whats goin on yall. new guy here from dallas, tx who isnt very mechanically savvy, just wanted your opinions and ideas about the mods i want done, as well as the names of some shops that could best help me out.

well first things first, here's what it looks like right now:

yes, i know it needs to be dropped... i was also thinking about shaving off the door handles... good idea or bad? i've also seen a 2nd gen gs300 where the lexus emblem on the grill was removed and put on as a hood ornament like a mercedes or jaguar, tacky or classy? i also wanted to black out the tail lights and head lights (i figured it'd look real nice since i have black paint, which reminds me, i need a new paint job). my headlights are real hazy, so i wanted to get some halos put on them.

as for the interior... i want a dash kit to match the factory wood grain, but i have a custom in-dash screen so im a little unsure about how to get this process started... i also want a wood grain steering wheel and i remember finding a shop out in rowlett from these forums but they quoted me $650 if i send in my steering wheel... i also saw a thread where someone put suede on the roof and seats...

any other ideas are appreciated (any ideas for engine mods?), as well as the names of some shops that can help me out (an estimate of prices would also be nice...) thanks so much everyone!

p.s. i wasnt sure where to post this so i just went ahead and posted this in the southwest forum and in the 1st gen gs forum...

Welcome...i like your enthusiasm. I've been modding cars for over 10 years, so my best piece of advice is to first determine what you want your car to look like when you're done and set a budget for yourself. Don't waste money on little things that tickle your fancy here and there. You'll waste money and time if you really don't know what the end product should be.
