I'd be down!

I have a 2011 Blue IS-F with K&N intake and Joe-Z exhaust.

 

Anyone going to the Cupcake Meet on Feb 4th? Im going in my Sc300... I also wish we had a good meet for local lexus owners or also maybe a day to cruise and take pics.

 

Im down for a meet, I recently just discovered one at the Fry's electronic store up in Parmer lane.....On Saturday nights seems like they meet 10pm if anybody is interested. When I showed up there was roughtly about 40 cars out there

 

I only needed my fronts tinted because my car came from Cali and the Sewell Lexus (where I bought it) removed the fronts so it would pass inspection. They charged me $80.

 

Welcome, and it's nice to see other IS350s out there. This town seems to be flooded with 250s! Regardless, we'll have to all meet for a photo shoot sometime. My DSLR seems to get no action these days!

Last night at Lifetime Fitness (North), I gave a shot out to another IS350 owner in the parking lot, but got no acknowledgement. I'll write this off to him possibly having headphones in. Then, as I was leaving, a mean-looking dark 2IS was pulling in.

 

Ha ha. Wait until you see LA. 250s are like Corollas out there. I would be down for a meet as well, particularly to see what other 350 owners have done/plan to do with their cars. I have a 2011 IS350 in Smokey Granite.

 

Hell, the wifey is out of town this weekend, and while I have stuff going on for the NFL games on Sunday, I'd be game for a meet somewhere on Saturday afternoon to grab food & drink, shoot some pics, and chill. After all, Saturday's supposed to be 70-degrees and!!

 

Welcome all you new peoples!!! I'd be willing to meet up on Saturday too. I can ask my buddy that has an IS350 if he would be interested as well. Unfortunately the car has been put on hiatus for me, but no reason I can't still make it out. Someone just say the word, maybe central to north? It seems like most people are that way.

 

I can join ya'll in the evening if the meet lasts that long. I have CPA exam review until 5:00 PM, unfortunately. Central/North works for me as I am out in that area as well.

 

I could probably make the early evening (5ish) work out..... if need be. My Horns play KU at 3pm, but I'd be down to meet after that.

This sounds like fun.. I am always up at the Fry's meet on saturdays. I also would love to see some good looking lexus's. I will be rollin in my Sc300 though. I don't have the mulla for a baller ISx50 of any sort lol... Plus any photos would be cool!!!

 

Ha ha. It would just be an opportunity for Lexus owners in general to exchange ideas and share common interests. My IS is still stock anyway. I am still debating the build. Would be nice to see what others have done as well as see some other cool rides.

 

I agree it would be a fun time I am sure. My car is far from stock.. so its all good!

 

Thanks for the warm welcome. You're definitely right about the overall scarcity of the 350. When I was looking for the car, most of the dealers typically had around 15 250s on the lot and maybe 2-3 350s (some didn't have any). I'm enjoying the car, and looking forward to taking it out on some of the great roads around Austin.
