Then it would be a "Central Texas Meet"

j/k...It's worth adding as places to consider. I want a LARGE turn out.

Oh yeah, don’t think I plan on managing this whole thing myself. I am looking for at least 4-5 volunteers to help coordinate this with me.

Where ever it is I need some locals to assist in negotiating with Lexus dealerships and sponsors.

Please let me know if you are willing to assist.

Thanks!

You should set up you car meet in a city where CL members are much more organized. I'll suggest DFW.

Trust me, you will be disappointed big time if you have it in Houston.

Agreed! Austin is a good choice. It's the halfway point to DWF for me. I'm even thinking something like New Braunfels or San Marcos or even the shopping outlets inbetween. That way we can get some good shopping done!

I'd be up for the meet...although we probably wouldn't be in the GS as it may be going away soon.

Nothing for the time being.....but it will free up cash for other stuff, like finishing my turbo project (which is almost finished)....and down the road my wife can get the s2000 she wants....stuff like that. Not that we don't like the car but I just don't have the time and cash to continually be working on two projects and sadly my civic is more reliable and efficient even with a turbo...but who knows....I may get another one later on.

If you would go for Dallas then I would make the 6 hour drive.

Dallas has so many meets that are convenient for DFW locals. This is fine and dandy BUT there are an almost equal number of people in Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus, and other cities that would like something meant for them and a bit closer to them. I am trying to accomplish that.

To make it a 6 hour drive for you would make it a 7.5 hour drive for people coming up from Corpus, 4 hours from Houston, and 3.5-4 hours from San Antonio and Austin.

I'm trying to do what is fair and most convenient for those who would like something a bit closer to home.
