dont post here much, but i usually meet up at bennigens every sat night on 50, thats where a lot of cars hang out now, a lot of rice too....my friend with a sc told me about the meet...i got an is300...if you all decide to meet up there let me know, i usually dont get there till 10-11 or so, if anyone is planning on staying out there that late let me know.

 

well i dunno if to go or not, my car is kinda ugly now (small accident in rear bumper, 1/4 panel area)

 

Hey dont worry about it Dimcorner. I got some slight damage near my passanger side bumper thas going to be fixed once I get some cash flow. I think you should definetly come, who cares about some slight damage no big deal.

While I'm here Lets all try to make it on time and bring whoever you what and whatever cars too. If anyone need directions I'll post some general directions but if anyone needs more detailed or directions from a different location let me know and I'll post it.


From Clearwater/Tampa/Tarpon Springs/Palm Harbor/St. Pete area:

the first part does not apply to St Pete...get onto US19 South and take the SR60 exit (Gulf To Bay) and go down to the 275 exit and take the 275 north ( For st pete people get 275 to I-4) exit I believe(just dont take the airport exit). If you go down that road you'll see the exit for 275 to I-4 so take that its the exit before the traffic light and the exit is like a big loop. Get on that and go down there until you see the sign for i-4 take the I-4 exit. Stay on I-4 till the exit for the 408 comes. I believe its like exit 86 or something. Anyways take that exit and take 408 East which is the right lane and go down that until you get to the first toll then stay in the right or middle lane. Once you see a left exit which is liek 18a or 19a (you cant miss it its the only left exit on 408). once you take that left exit the first exit for that is Valencia College Lane but the next one should be SR50. Take that exit and make a left. You should be going West on SR50 (also called E. Colonial). Go down untill you get close to the mall. You should see a Kanes furniture on the left side and soon after a Best Buy. Once you get to the best buy get ready to make a U turn. The Bennigans is right in the middle of best buy and the fashion square mall. Its on the left side so if you miss the spot to get in the next light is Bennet Rd or something so you can make a u turn there.

For Gainesville area:

Get onto 275 South towards Tampa. Stay on that untill the left exit for Florida Turnpike. Take that exit and stay on that till the exit for 408 comes. I'm not sure if you can take East or west but if it does come take East. Go down that until you get to the first toll then stay in the right or middle lane. Once you see a left exit which is like 18a or 19a (you cant miss it its the only left exit on 408). once you take that left exit the first exit for that is Valencia College Lane but the next one should be SR50. I'm not 100% about this. Its been a while since I was last there but take the I-95 North then the Florida Turnpike. After that I believe an exit for 528 comes. Take 528 West(check with the toll people ust incase or check mapquest.com). Stay on 528 then take 417 North. Stay on 417 and take the E. Colonial (SR50) exit. I cant remmeber which way to turn but go West on SR50. Check the intersections. If you are passing Chickasaw and Goldenrod then you're on the right way. Go down untill you get close to the mall. You should see a Kanes furniture on the left side and soon after a Best Buy. Once you get to the best buy get ready to make a U turn. The Bennigans is right in the middle of best buy and the fashion square mall. Its on the left side so if you miss the spot to get in the next light is Bennet Rd or something so you can make a u turn there.


Anyways just a reminder....April 5th (Saturday) 5 P.M. Meet in the Bennigans parking lot. Just look for all the Lexus's. After a little while we'll take a cruise over to UCF parking garage and take some nice picture.

I'm going to bring a couple of digital cameras and probably a camcorder. See you all there in a few days.

Ok if it does rain we could wait a bit and see if it dies out most times it doesnt rain for very long. If it doesnt stop we could just go to the UCF parking garage and take some pictures and do whatever else we can and go home. We can meet again in May so everyone has time to plan and most people will be out of school. I havent checked the weather but hopefully it doesnt rain. Just meet at 5PM in the Bennigans parking lot and if someone is late and no ones there wait a few minutes and go to the UCF parking garage. We should be there till about 6:00 or so so everyone has enough time to get there.

Ryan if you are interested in coming read my post above this one. It has all the finalized information and directions if you need them.

You guys should just wait around till 7pm, there are alot of people coming in from all over that might get sidetracked and get there later. I'll be there at 6pm or so with my friend Nuvat, both in SCs. I'm planning a night on the town with a few of my other orlando compodres, cruising around and having fun, everyone is of course welcome. Hopefully someone will be there with good DV editing skills so we can have a pimp video like the supra guys do. See you all there, pray for good weather!

 

What I wanna know is where was everyone? I know more than 5 cars should have showed up. What happened guys lol anyways it was still cool but it would of been better if more showed up.

 

Sorry guys, my interior is torn apart-replacing bulbs, I ran into a snag, have to take the whole center console out. What a job!!

You know I was wondering where you were. I rememeber you telling me you lived real close to me. Next time we'll do that tho. Its a real good idea. Make a list and PM a couple days before the meet. Now why didnt I think of that.
