DuWerke, I completely agree.
So what we need is a spot which is agreeable to everyone (almost), roomy and accessible to good food. An arcade with driving games would just be an added bonus, so we could all attempt to beat each other in a virtual environment- saves on maintenance and traffic citations.
How about Dave and Busters? I think if we have enough folks they'll give us a deal or something.
Bobby also had a good idea- ****'s/Costco parking lot at Barrett Parkway is roomy, and there are lots of places to chill and to eat there. Plus, there's a kickass bowling/arcade/billiards/laser tag at US Play. For some of you that remember this far back, they used to hold import shows in their parking lot on a regular basis.
Let's get this done! 1SickLex, I'm available to help organize this if you think that'll help. You're our go to guy, but I'd like to pitch in if possible. I'm sure we can make this meet memorable.
What say you, group?

We need that younger generation to take over. Tell us O.Gs what to do.
So busy now its just hard to put much effort but I would like to meet soon!
Nice bro. Feel free to take the lead. After 11 years I think I'm worn out quite frankly...Tee has stepped it up, Bing always helps as well, maybe someone else can.

^^ well i will be there, hopefully in my car. lol. just took the motor out and tore it down to re-ring it. if all goes smoothly, i will be running the blue IS at that event. we are even thinking about renting a cabin up there for the weekend.
I'm down for a meet that isn't at the typical locations of the city. I'm sure our south side friends would really like this news as well. How about a Kennesaw, Marietta, Douglasville, Stockbridge, Jonesboro meet location this time around?
Not trying to get into a turf war lol, I love my eastside peeps, but I'm just sayin. Lets change it up a little this time.
On a side note, I'm putting together a recurring monthly meet somewhere here in Cobb County. Something low key, just find a spot to eat, park the cars and talk mods. If there are sponsorship opportunities, I will certainly relay that information.
Those Infiniti cats seem to meet every day lol..we can meet more than just once every two months or so!!

Okay, then I'll put it to the group. 1SICKLEX has faithfully assisted in planning these for years, so I say we let him enjoy retirement.
September is out for a lot of folks, given the Sept. 22nd event. I was thinking a weekend in October, before Halloween? I just wanted to get that out of the way before the holidays get in full swing.

Mike has done wonders for Club Lexus, as far as I'm concerned he is Club Lexus!! So kudos to Big Mike for everything. Tee's Luxury Meets have been a huge success with great turnouts so props to Tee as well as Bing too!!!
I'll be standing by to see what happens but it seems to me that October is way too far out given the last big meet was 2 months ago or so...

CJ, I agree- sort of. This month has NOPI, it has that Ride-Along and I want to say there's some other meet/show going on. Next month has Caffeine & Octane that first weekend, but I didn't see anything else on the calendar.
Besides, if we don't get it planned... holidays will pretty much rule everything else out.
Mike, is there a Hennessey meet in planning/the works? I ask because my first meet was October '11.

aly250 and tdodge- Grrr....
I spent a year down in the Boro at GSU- couldn't find anyone willing to chill or meet down there (for cars, anyway). Oh well, go have a couple of shots at Dingus McGee's for me.
I miss that place, sometimes.

Guess it would be a fall meet now. Kudo's to the guys that always steps up to the plate to organize the meets. Even though there seems to be continuous poor turn outs. Lately the meets are getting better so I’ll try my best to make the next meet.
I’ll try to think of any suggestions and add to the tread so we can get this thing going.

@tdodge- or Rumrunners, or Rudy's. I can't stand that one bar next to the fried chicken place- for the life of me I can't remember it's name. I should, I've been sick in there enough.
Trini, it looks like word of mouth is going to be our best bet. I've noticed that some of the visitors to CL only stick with one forum; usually the one that matches their model. We may have to drop threads in those forums to draw attention- better to ask forgiveness from the Mods than their permission.

Okay since its going to be an annual meet, it should be more than parking lot pimping. Some of us can actually do that in the comforts of their home (uh.. humm.... Bing LOL). Should be something both locals and out-of-towners can enjoy.
How about a 41 mile mountain run. We all get a chance to enjoy our fine cars in the backdrop of the scenic GA mountains. I'm sure along the way their would be photo ops. We can have lunch/Dinner/drinks after the run or even have a pinic/grilling (taking a bite off of Tee's LC meet) up in the mountains.
A few of you might be more familar with the routes so you can chine in with ideas.
This is my route sugesstion. I did it a few years back when I visited Brasstown Bald Tower.
Roads Included in Byway
SR 75 Alternate from SR 17 / 75, west to SR 348
348 from SR 75 Alt., northwest to SR 180
SR 180 from SR 348, east to SR 17 / 75
SR 180 Spur north from SR 180
SR 17/75 from SR 180, south to SR 75 Alt.
