No problems with Johnson Lexus...We came to an understanding early on and things have been good. They sold me on the quality, reliability and service of Lexus automobiles and Johnson Lexus.
I remind them of these talking points when there's a warranty issue and I make it clear that I expect them to live up to these high standards upon which they convinced me to purchase my Lexus.

Hey guys, I located in Elon. I'd love to meet some of the other NC members around here. Sorry I missed the past meet. I've got a 2000 GS 300 Spectra Blue Mica. Hope to get together soon.

help guy!..I sold my 1999 LS400...bought a 2000 LS 400....only had one key...I got other keys from Sewell Lexus and programmed them to start the car, but no mater how many times i use the "posted" CL instructions for programming the remote parts, ie the lock/unlock/trunk buttons, i cant get it to work...any suggestions?...at the end, the instructions say to press both the lock and unlock "bottoms"...but the lock and unlock buttons are NOt next to each other...one is at the bottom, the other higher up...but, even when i get to that part, and press and hold for 3 seconds, as soon as I let go and then hit the unlock button to hold it for 3 seconds, the locks cycle at least twice, and it doesnt work....i would appreciate anything you can do to help....wayne
thread Id is 71181...it was VVT-i's response on 1/18/2003 to a question i had about programming the remotes on my 1999...he stated:
To program your remote entry:
Make sure no key in ignition, driver door open and other 3 doors closed and locked
Insert the master key into ignition switch then remove it. Lock and unlock drivers door 5 times (use lock and unlock button at the door handle, not the master switch)
Then close and open the drivers door one time
Lock and unlock driver door 5 more times (at the door handle, same as 2nd step)
Then insert the master key in ignition and turn it on and then off. Remove the key. You hear the door lock and lock itself once.
Then press the lock and unlock bottoms oon the key (at the same time) and hold it for 3 seconds.
Release both bottoms and then just press the unlock bottom for about 3 seconds and then you should be done with reporgramming the remote entry
I have tried these instructions, but when i get to the last step and hold the unclok "bottom", the locks cycle several times, and it doesnt work...i appreciate any help you can offer, links, better directions, hints...it doesnt seem like it was that difficult to do last time...thanks again...wayne little
