ggpis3 no offense taken at all. i think were both on the same page about people not showing up to big meets if theyre not going to show up to smaller ones. thats what i was trying to make an example of since people definitely arent going to drive for a smaller meet. while im not an og, i have been a long time lurker on the site, as you can see from my join date and post count, but since owning my lexus ive gone too all the meets i can. i enjoy meeting the people and seeing the cars that i never get to see in my area. so i enjoy what lexus scene we do have.

i think the facebook group is a great idea. its an easy way to spread the word to the people that dont frequent this site or the southeast section and miss out on seeing about the meets. you people that are talking about malware and whatnot from facebook are on crack lol. just be a smart user and youll be fine, and what if you do get malware...it can be wiped. i have never in the history of owning a computer been infected by anything from email or social media sites and im a very active user.

You don't live in my world. There's lots of stuff out there that is FUD. Fully Un Detectable. Ever hear of virustotal? They run 41 AV engines against your malware for you to ensure it can't be detected. Probably never heard of Zeus or Spyeye too. Best of luck, if you run with Java/javascript enabled, you'll get infected, and they can only be cleaned with a re-image from trusted binaries.

Ill come to a meet whenever there is another one. Ill go anywhere around the Metro area. Hopefully I get a chance to visit Zen first so I don't just have a stock turd

Bump this thread back up. I wish meets were more central to the Southeast area as opposed to all the way in Georgia. I've been lurking around, and a lot of the events I see are held in Georgia. It's sooo far
