who lives in alabama :
If you guys want me to I will work on getting some ideas together for a Lexus Meet. Of course all of CL and others would be invited and it could be a pretty big thing if we do things the right way. If we start planning now we could have a sizable meet in the spring/summer.
Sorry haven't check up in awhile. That sounds awesome man, if you need any help on the planning let me know. I see all these meets but none even close to local. Dying to chill out with some other IS's and show off what we got. PS. Another way to get in touch faster is bradley.olsen@tema.toyota.com. Let me know whats up and If I can do anything, I wanna see this happen.
Peace
Decatur AL. here. Just wanted to say hello.
Stock 93 White SC4 with 17" (IS300) wheels. Working on getting closer to original stock. Small drop, different wheels maybe later, but no other mods unless can find a good supercharger setup that is reasonable.

BTW, it was a hard choice between GS4 and SC4 for me, love the GS's.
Thanks for the welcome,
Tim
I moved to Decatur about 6 years ago with steel mill. Have enjoyed living here with my wife and two kids (one in middle and other in Highschool). Can't say enough about all the information I've learned from the enthusiasts here at CL (and other forums). Always liked Toyota (other two cars Camry and Sienna), and needed a commuter car since kid started driving. Bought SC4 a year ago. Now daily driving, nothing special, but feels and drives like a new car. When not into household/daddy duties, hobbies are Sim Racing and working a little on cars.

Yeah I love the SC as well. I'm pretty sure the SC will be my next project(TT).
So do you work at Nucor?
Nucor is correct (great company to work for), got one finishing Cedar R. and another at Austin. Matter of fact, I can see the Cedar Ridge football field from my front yard, lol. I also considered getting an SC3 and doing the TT, but too hard to give up what I have and don't want to stack 4 cars around my suburban house.
Hey I am in B'Ham. Glad to see another B'ham person though we have a few you may be the first LS though. I know we have a few GS' and a handful of SC's as well. I am in the process of trying to get an Alabama Lexus meet but so far it has been slow please check in often.

You may know two of my buddies there at Nucor. My best friend is Nic Brannon and I also know Brock Appleton.
Cool, yep, know Brock. He works opposite 12 hr shift same part of mill. Don't know Nick, probably works in different area. Know Weakley too. Small world.
Found my LS in the paper and said what the heck , I'll go look at it. (That was it.. heh). Could have just as easily been an SC.
Haven't had it but 2weeks or so,.. so at a 'meet' I wouldn't be impressing anyone, except maybe with my 228,000 miles
-- Only modification I have done to it so far is I installed an Alpine 9886..
Oh, and some Sylvania Silverstar ST's.
