I'm definitely all for this, but we need to work out the details. Luke722 & I are near the Turnpike & Bird Road in Miami-Dade. Don't know where everyone else is located relative to this. It may be easier to pinpoint everyone's location by proximity to a Turnpike (or I-95?) exit so we can come up with a caravan route & breakfast site.

Damn I cannot wait until this all goes down. We might need a pooper scooper to pick up all the jaws that drop on the ground when 50+ Lexus's roll in to Melbourne.

I'm in Palm Beach County and close to the Lake Worth Road Turnpike Exit/Entrance. Also there is a Lake Worth rest stop just north of the exit/entrance. I would like to join the caravan on Sat morning. What time will you guys be coming by this area? I can wait at the rest stop and join you when the group gets up there. We could use cell phones to coordinate. Let me know the plan.

Welp, things aren't looking so great for me...

Got the flu a few days ago (the wife had it first and still has it) and now all i can think about ( since someone on this thread pointed it out - I had forgot when I first planned to go) that it's the weekend of the 500 here, and I'm near Daytona. Have to go through it and then I-4, so that's not a cheery proposition at the moment for me. My experience in the past is to stay completely off the roads, local and interstate, this weekend.

Had I remembered that initially I probably would not have threw my hat in for this meet, because we've been caught in it before (when we first moved here and didn't know better) and it turned a 1/2 hour trip into a 3 hour nightmare. Not fun when you need to be somewhere at a certain time.

If I could lick this flu bug I'd be more inclined, but I know I don't want to crawl in traffic sick like this, nor does the wife.

Unless a couple things change drastically, I'll have to wait for the next one. I really was looking forward to this too. Arrggghh. Dan H

 

i take it you liver north of daytona and would be taking 95 s to i4 w? in that case i can see it... if u live south of daytona... i4 w should be free while i4 east is taking it up the yingyang

If I'm feeling a lot better Saturday I may just take a spin up by the interstate early and see what it's like. I can get a traffic report from 104.1 FM as well.

Right now the flu is kicking my butt, so that is the bigger factor really. Murphy's Law still in effect...
