Default Maintenance Section Troubles...

I find it extremely difficult to look for things in the maintenance section...Everytime I look for something that is specific for my car, the results also involve with all of the other models...It's such a big headace for me...

Is there anyway to separate the section into separate models?

Sorry Dennis, that'd be just like recreating all the model forums that already exist so we likely won't do that.

We try only to post or move 'generic' maintenance topics in that forum and keep the really specific posts in the model forums, unless you want to make sure one of our Lexus tech friends gets a look at your post. Items that really apply across other models.

Example:

How do I remove the oil drain plug on my SC400 (belongs in SC forum)
Should I use synthetic oil for the first time on my SC400 with 75k (belongs in maintenance forum)

Hope that makes sense!

I posted in the SC forum about my 100K tune-up but one of the mods moved it into the maintenance section... I don't think I had enough exposure in the maintenance forums...Thanks Dave!
