Literally almost brand new!

 

It's probably because you only have the one post. It cuts down on spam ****.
You probably have to have 5-7 or more post before you can post up a for sale item.

 

Can’t just join and sell, out marketplace is a benefit for our active members.

Yes.

Posts in the main forum that aren't obvious spam "I like this" replies to a bunch of old threads to get your post count up so you can sell something.

Posts in the classifieds don't count towards post count.

For you specifically, you'll get access pretty quickly after making the post above. There is a 'lurker' category of folks that are here a long time who don't post much that let's you start threads.
