Tesla Sub-Forum?
I don't recall if I have brought this up in public before, but, in Car Chat, I notice that Dave and the moderators are constantly addressing an excessive number of Tesla/Musk-threads, Tesla/Musk-Talk, and people shifting/hijacking non-Tesla topics to even more Tesla/Musk talk....to the point of often actually shutting down threads, or asking posters to exit the threads.
So, then, why not just have a Tesla sub-forum? Even with Car-Chat and its across-the-board vehicle-talk, I recognize that CL is primarily a Lexus forum. But, at the same time, given the slow but steady shift to BEVs, this company and its somewhat quirky CEO gets an enormous amount of publicity, and frankly, it's difficult to avoid discussion of it. IMO, adding a Tesla sub-forum (for Tesla/Musk-related talk only) would probably address several of these issues at once, and greatly lessen or eliminate what the moderators are complaining about in Car Chat.

Thanks for the suggestion will consider it! Lex2k is right, it would be an EV and alternative fuels subforum not a subforum brand focused on a make other than Lexus.
I will note they don’t get closed because of the frequency but because of some recurring problematic behavior so a new subforum won’t eliminate the problem. I’m working on that issue first, just slow going with the holiday and life.
