Doesn't look like you did or somehow it was changed. There are other email toggles for PM and thread notification, etc that you may have turned off instead.

options are both set to 'yes'

I switched them to no

Neither of those options are showing up on mobile, and I know I disabled them, because I got almost as pissed then.
