Default question for you about this forum

Out of curiosity, say someone started a thread. then another person responded. Then I responded.

For what reason would person #2 delete their post, then repost it.

Is there some benefit for their post to be the most recent? I like to understand human nature, that's all.

There are tons of reasons this happens so would not automatically ascribe it to any specific intent or human nature.

- members add additional detail based on the new post
- posted the wrong thing and don't know how to edit or don't want to
- accidentally pushed back button and posted it twice
