Posts disappearing? Why?

Mike - definitely could be the issue. We've had some very weird stuff happen after the transition to the new servers, including one member's ID getting totally deleted and having to be recreated.
Can you be more specific about 'no longer stay'... are you talking about a new post you make that disappears or old ones you can no longer find?

Hi,
I made two posts in the SC forums this morning. Both appeared fine but later in afternoon they were both gone. I did an advanced search of my user name but the threads were gone. Other threads that were not mine but that I replied to still had my posts.

JPA, I'm sure you meant that as a joke although you didn't indicate it as such with a smiley which would have been nice.
I requested input from all the moderators and specifically SC and super moderators, no one deleted those posts. It's not our policy to do so without notifying the person whose posts are getting deleted (althought it happens infrequently).
I suspect the database issues we've had are the culprit of the problem and I PM'd Hermosa that earlier this morning. Ethan has the tech team working hard on fixing them and that's caused some unplanned outages that I know are frustrating for us all... Hopefully all this will be resolved very soon.
