I'm a newbie here but i have sought out answers in the past. I just bought an 01, one owner ls430 with 300k miles. I know I'm a bit crazy for buying such a high mileage car but this thing is cherry and the price, 3500$ seemed like a bargain. After sixty days I love this car even more. I've replaced all four struts and mounts. I also fixed a few minor issues but one is driving me crazy!! The folding front pocket doors will not remain closed . Do I need to replace the complete door panel or is there a cheaper, less labor intensive way of getting them to stay closed? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
