Lexus "L" for website
Hey, is there anyway ClubLexus can make an "L" symbol for its site so it shows up on my "Links" bar in Explorer? Google has a "G", CNN has a "CNN" logo, and FoxNews has the "searchlights" that all show up on my links bar. Right now, ClubLexus has the "E" from Explorer. It would be nice to have for a personal touch to the site. Thanks.

ClubLexus is coming out with a new version shortly, all technical resources are working on that. I like your idea - seems like something pretty easy to do. But it'll have to be a bit later as scope is frozen right now for the new release.

OK, figured out how to do this. I took one of the old 'L's we used by the CL members name and downloaded an icon creating shareware program to convert it to an icon (.ico) file.
- download and unzip the icon file below. I'd recommend putting it in a directory where you won't delete it accidently (with all the other .ico's in a system directory is where I put mine)
- go into your favorites menu where you keep the ClubLexus link
- right click on the link, select the 'properties' option
- click on the change icon button
- select browse and navigate to where you put the lexus.ico file
- select it, click OK and click apply.
Sit back and think "how cool am I?" as you admire your new icon.
I still don't know how to push it out from the site automatically, but this should get you by for now.
