Thanks. Kind of a strange rule - I don't see how having a signature prevents spamming, but I guess I'll just have to work on my 30 posts.

The spammers are much trickier than you can possibly imagine. There is a subset of them that post innocuous comments on threads while advertising in their signatures, sometimes with malicious links.

After a few hundred of them we restricted that feature so that it would only show up for real people who have been around the community.

No need to spam threads to get your post count up, please just contribute naturally to the conversation!

I'm willing to do so and don't mean to be difficult, but it's annoying to always have to remember to include the same relevant info about my vehicle in every post. Just my 2 cents - I understand you have to balance pros and cons.
